Possible Career Path For Me

The area of programming that I found the most interesting is HTML, creating web pages. A job in the computer science field I'm interested in is becoming a web developer. Web developers build websites and develop applications for the web. Some of their responsibilities are build and maintain websites by writing code instructions for applications. One of the reasons why I'm interested is because I have some of the attributes and abilities that are necessary in order to succeed in this job. For instance, I'm able to incorporate my creativity into designing webpages. I work well in teams and have the communication skill to communicate efficiently to my team.

The employment of web developers is porjected to grow 27% from 2014-2024, which is a lot faster than the projection rate of the average occupation. The reason behind this projected growth is because of the advancement in technology. As our society becomes more reliant on the internet, more and more people are needed to create these web pages for the consumers to wesite. For example, online shopping is becoming a lot more popular than in previous years. Web Developers are needed to create and maintain these websites for the companies.
